Sound Bath FAQs

  /  Sound Bath FAQs

So you have now read more about sound healing. Does the idea of a sound bath or a sound healing session appeal to you either for yourself or someone close to you? Below is some information that may be helpful or of interest if you are considering attending a sound bath at Emra Sound Healing in Finchley, North London.

If there are any other questions you have about sound healing or sound bath sessions please get in touch, as I would love to see if I can help.

Is there an actual bath at a sound bath?

No, there is no water – just the sound of different instruments washing over you while you lie back and relax

What to wear

Whatever is comfortable for you to lie back and relax as being comfortable is all important.

What equipment do I need?

I have plenty of cushions, mats and blankets for you to get comfortable so you don’t need to bring anything.  Of course if you would prefer to use your own then please feel free to bring them.

What preparation do I need to do

Absolutely none – just bring yourself and lie back and enjoy.

Is it suitable for anyone?

Sound baths are not advised for

  • Those in the first three months of pregnancy
  • Children
  • Those with pacemakers or metal implants
  • Anyone experiencing severe mental health problems

Where do the sound baths take place in North London?

In my garden studio please see further back for more information.

Can I gift someone a sound bath?

Of course you can. I have gift vouchers for single sessions, a course of sessions or even gift someone a whole session for them to invite up to seven friends.

What happens if I’m interested but I can’t make any of your sound bath dates/times?

Don’t worry, please get in contact. The benefits of a solely designated studio and the fact that I love what  I do mean that I’m happy to organise an additional session at your convenience and will always accommodate wherever possible.

What happens if I’m running late?

All sessions start promptly on the hour, so please arrive 5-10 minutes early to get your spot and get yourself settled. The doorbell will be turned off once the session starts and no latecomers will be admitted.

What happens if I have a cold or feel unwell on the day?

As the studio is a confined space please be considerate of others. If you are unwell or have a cold keep your germs to yourself and rearrange your session for when you are better.

Can I book for my children to come too?

Sound healing is wonderful for everyone and I understand that some schools run sound healing sessions for children.   The sessions I run are for adults only. If you want to discuss this further or understand why then please get in touch.

What happens if I can’t make my booked ticket?

I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. As long as you give me 24 hours notice you are able to re-book that session at another time. Please contact me to rearrange the session if you need. Unfortunately I am unable to offer refunds.

Can I book a private session for a group of friends?

Of course! It’s a lovely group experience for up to 7 people and the cost is £140.

Would love to try sound bath but finances are stretched …

Lack of money should not prevent you from receiving the many benefits sound healing brings – please speak to me about concessionary rates.
