Breathwork + Sound

£40.00

Start
Tuesday, July 28, 2026
End
Tuesday, July 28, 2026
Time
11:00 am - 1:00 pm

This breathwork and sound bath session begins with guided conscious connected breathwork designed to help release mental and physical tension through the breath before moving into grounding live sound for rest and integration. The breathwork creates space for deeper emotional and physical release, while the sound bath that follows helps the body and nervous system gradually settle and absorb the experience more fully.

Held in a small-group setting, this is often a powerful session for those feeling mentally overloaded, emotionally stuck or in need of space to properly reset and reconnect with themselves.

Breathwork and Sound

Sometimes what we’re carrying doesn’t respond to words. Conscious Connected Breathwork offers a different way in – working directly with the body and the breath to process, release and restore in ways that can surprise you. The live sound bath that follows creates the space for that experience to settle and deepen. Together they offer something genuinely different for those ready to go a little deeper.

A two hour session with breathwork facilitator David Clark and Emma, bringing together Conscious Connected Breathwork and a live sound bath.

David leads the breathwork element of the session – an active, self-healing practice using a specific breathing pattern to promote a transformative state. Sometimes described as therapy without talking, this is a felt, embodied experience rather than a passive or purely relaxing one. You’ll be guided through what to expect and invited to set an intention before the breathwork begins.

Once the breathwork is complete, you’ll lie back and receive Emma’s live sound bath, carefully chosen to support the integration of what you’ve just experienced.

Ten minutes of silence follows, before a short grounding by Emma. There’s then a few minutes of open space to share something of your experience or simply sit quietly with what’s present. Words are welcome. So is silence.

Please read David’s consent form carefully before booking as Conscious Connected Breathwork has specific contraindications beyond those of a standard sound bath.

Conscious Connected Breathwork Consent Form

Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) is a self-healing practice involving a specific breathing pattern to promote a transformative state. This technique may promote emotional release and processing, increased body awareness, resilience, and relaxation. It may also temporarily alter states of consciousness.

Breathwork is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment. The facilitator is not a licensed therapist or psychiatrist and is not working in a medical capacity. This session is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

Please do not book if you have or are currently experiencing any of the following:

General: Recent hospitalisations for acute illness (physical or psychiatric) or exacerbation of chronic illness.

Physical contraindications: Cardiovascular disease (including angina, heart attack, uncontrolled high blood pressure), epilepsy or history of seizures, glaucoma, retinal detachment, cataracts or recent eye surgery, recent surgery or physical injury within 6 months, aneurysms, stroke or family history of aneurysms, poorly controlled asthma, uncontrolled diabetes or thyroid issue.

Mental health contraindications: Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dissociative identity disorder, severe anxiety or complex PTSD, personality disorder, psychosis.

Other considerations: Pregnancy or IVF (particularly high-risk or first trimester), being under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs (strictly prohibited), current infectious respiratory illness such as COVID-19 or flu.

During breathwork you may experience:

Emotional release such as crying, laughing or anger, tingling sensations, changes in body temperature, muscle cramping or temporary tightening of muscles in the hands, feet or around the mouth, visual imagery or insights, deep relaxation or euphoria, altered states of consciousness.

These effects are typically temporary and part of the body’s natural response to deep breathing. If you feel overwhelmed at any time, you are encouraged to slow the breath or stop the practice, reverting to nasal breathing. Should you experience distress, grounding techniques and emotional support will be provided, as well as follow up resources.

Please let your facilitator know if you would prefer not to be touched at the beginning of the session or at any point throughout.

A hard copy of this consent form will be available to sign on arrival.

Please aim to arrive a few minutes before the session begins to give yourself time to settle in comfortably. Once the session has started the studio door is closed — if you’ve left a contact number and are running just a few minutes late please do call ahead and we’ll do our best to help.
